New Service Available! - On-site Flowmeter and Load Cell Calibration.
Williams Industrial Services are always looking for ways to enhance and expand the service to our customers. We have recently invested in two new mass flow rigs which allow on-site, in-situ calibration and verification of most types of flowmeter measuring liquids, slurries or gas. The flow rigs have a 1 inch and a 2 inch Micromotion Mass Flowmeter respectively, so we can cover a huge range of flowrates.
Micromotion flowmeters have been proven time and again to be the most accurate available, capable of measuring mass flow, process density and temperature simultaneously. We have been selling these versatile meters for years measuring all sorts of media from natural gas to heavy fuel oil and from whiskey to sewage sludge.
Now we can offer peace of mind for your flow processes as we can calibrate and verify not only mass flowmeters, but volumetric flowmeters such as magmeters, turbine meters and positive displacement meters. We have a host of fittings to allow us to break into the process pipework and perform the calibration in-situ and, if desired, with the process fluid, saving on shipping costs and downtime.
Since the Micromotion meters measure true mass in the engineering units of your choice, we can also use the flow rigs to check and calibrate load cells for tanks containing liquids. Water, or the process fluid, is pumped through the flow rig to the tank to be calibrated and the true mass is totalised by the mass flowmeter. This method of load cell calibration was recently performed at the new Diageo site, Mallusk.
The flow rigs are traceable to UKAS national standards, so full calibration certification can be provided.
